By train:

Take a train to Omi-Imazu / Tsuruga on the Kosei Line from JR Kyoto Station and get off at Shin-Asahi station (about an hour), then walk about 1.5km northwards (about 20 minutes’ walk). 
 
　

By car:

*From Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe:
Take the Meishin Expressway and get off at the Kyoto Higashi I.C. Then take the Japan National Route 161. (about an hour)
*From Nagoya and surrounding areas:
Take the Hokuriku Expressway and get off at the Kinomoto I.C. Then take the Japan National Route 8, 303 and 161. (about 50 minutes)
